Brooke Prudhomme, CPM, LM, is a Certified Professional and Licensed Midwife committed to soulful, equitable care in women’s health. She is the Executive Director of the Midwives Association of Washington State (MAWS), a board member of the National Association of Certified Professional Midwives (NACPM), and the founder of Ova Sanctum, a midwife-led, physician-supported telehealth sanctuary for whole-person care across the life cycle, a testament to her visionary leadership in strengthening women, launching soon!

Brooke has attended thousands of births at home, in birth centers, and hospitals, including many VBACs and water births. She provides comprehensive sexual and reproductive health care and completed training at a reproductive health clinic offering abortion, gynecology, pregnancy support, and sexual wellness.

Brooke began her professional journey studying art and humanities at the University of Memphis. The births of her twin sons inspired a six-year midwifery apprenticeship, followed by collaboration with Dr. Nikia Grayson at CHOICES Memphis Center for Reproductive Health, where she helped to lay the foundation for the first and only free standing birth center in Memphis, Tn. Her path blends clinical excellence with community care and the time-honored knowing held within a midwife.

Brooke is devoted to deep, integrative healing. She has worked extensively with plant medicines, studied Internal Family Systems, A Course in Miracles, and EMDR with her teacher, Dr. Mark Weiss, is a trained teacher of Kundalini Yoga, and is currently studying Tibetan Tantra.

In addition to her small homebirth practice, she fills in clinically for midwife Faisa Farole at Global Perinatal Services once a week and serves as an adjunct faculty member at Bastyr University. Brooke’s leadership centers on her dedication to clear perception, mindful sovereignty, and midwifery as a public health approach.

Through Ova Sanctum, she is building a new model of care that merges midwifery knowledge, clinical integrity, and digital access to support women from menarche to menopause and beyond.
